Introfoc is participating at WindEurope2023 global annual event in Copenhagen. Probably the biggest event in the world bringing together wind experts, engineers, scientists, and researchers! Really happy to be here.
A product dedicated towards power generation in buildings. It features an enclosed wind turbine that exploits advanced aerodynamics for achieving augmentation factors of at least 3, in terms of power. An ideal solution for urban environments and where space availability is limited. At average annual speed of 4.5m/s the ROI can be as low as 4.5 years at a price 40% lower than Solar PV. We estimate that if WindiBox is installed at a global level in existing roofs with a 4.5m/s annual average speed it can reduce by 20% the global CO2 emissions.
The device works in favour of aesthetics and conservation of the building’s architectural design. The enclosure acts as a safety envelope for all components.
Applicability: Terraces and Rooftops of Buildings
Power produced at 4.5m/s to 5.5m/s average Speed: 2750 – 3500 KWh/year
DISRUPTIVE TECHNOLOGIES UNDER DEVELOPMENT
A revolutionary concept involving high-speed turbomachinery for power generation in electric and hybrid cars using wind energy. A vehicle-integrated technology dedicated towards the manufacturing of fully, self-powered vehicles, through aerodynamic optimization and the incorporation of advanced engineering.
This innovative concept brings a new meaning to the building industry by introducing the first smart wall system. Through this solution, wind is being collected and exploited as a mean to generate energy for buildings, in the form of external facades.
